How to choose the appropriate filter precision for the oil purifier?

Selection method of oil filter accuracy:

High-viscosity oil cannot pass through the precision filter screen, and the filtering accuracy must be reduced. If only pursuing the cleanliness of the oil and adopting a fine filter element, it is bound to increase the operating cost.

Generally speaking, the filter accuracy of the general fine filter grade is selected as:

Insulating oil filtering equipment, choose 1～5μm.; Lubricating oil, turbine oil, hydraulic oil below 46#, choose 10～20μm.; High viscosity gear oil, choose 20～50μm.
